Digital visiting card for salons and beauty parlours

Show your service menu with prices, photos of your work and your booking hours on one link. Clients scan the QR code at the counter, save your number and book their next visit on WhatsApp or in a free slot.

In short

A digital visiting card for a salon is a one-page mobile profile with your service menu and prices, a gallery of your work, your timings, address and WhatsApp button. Clients open it from a QR code or link without an app, save your number, book an appointment slot and check your latest packages any time.

Why do salons and beauty parlours use a digital visiting card?

A client who liked the result wants to come back — and then cannot find your number. The paper card went out with an old handbag, the rate list is a laminated sheet at the counter, and your latest work is buried deep in your Instagram grid. A salon digital visiting card puts all of it on the client's phone:

  • your service menu with prices, always current;
  • photos of your work in a gallery;
  • one-tap WhatsApp to book, and appointment slots for clients who like to pick a time;
  • your timings, address and directions;
  • a link to leave you a Google review.

Edit any of it from the dashboard, and the same link and QR code show the change at once. Start from the Salon & Spa template. If you work freelance or mainly do bridal and party makeup, the Makeup Artist template makes a good makeup artist visiting card instead. Both are among the 40+ templates on every plan.

How do you set up a service menu and packages?

Add each service with a short description that includes its price. Where the price depends on hair length or the products used, write a starting price ("from ...") so nobody is surprised at the counter. List services in the order clients look for them:

  • Hair — haircut, blow-dry, global colour, highlights, smoothening or keratin, hair spa.
  • Skin — clean-up, facial, de-tan, bleach.
  • Hands and feet — manicure, pedicure, nail extensions and nail art.
  • Waxing and threading — clients often open your card just to check these rates.
  • Men's grooming — haircut, beard trim and styling, if you offer them.

Packages work well as services too, because the client sees what is included and the full price in one place:

  • Bridal package — trial, engagement or mehendi look, wedding-day makeup and hair, draping, and whether you work at the salon or the venue.
  • Pre-bridal course — the sessions you spread over the weeks before the wedding.
  • Festive packages — Karva Chauth, Diwali, Eid, Teej or wedding-season offers. Add them before the season and remove them after, so old offers do not stay on your card.

Keep prices up to date: a client who sees an old rate on your card will expect that rate. If you sell hair-care or skin-care products, add them as products with a photo and a price.

What should go in your salon gallery?

For a salon, the gallery is the part of the card clients look at longest. They choose a stylist by looking at work, not words.

  • Your own work only — photos you or your team took in your salon, never pictures from the internet or from product brands.
  • Before-and-after photos are fine — they show your own work. Ask the client's permission before you take or publish them, and do not use filters that change the result.
  • A mix of categories — haircuts, colour work, bridal looks, nails, and one or two photos of the salon itself, so first-time clients know what to expect.
  • Fresh photos each season — replace older ones so returning clients see something new.
  • Good light — daylight near a window shows true colour better than warm mirror lights.

You can also add a few words from regular clients in the testimonials section, which every plan includes — with their permission and their first name only.

How do clients book on WhatsApp or in an appointment slot?

Many clients prefer to book on WhatsApp, and your card makes that one tap: the WhatsApp button opens a chat with your number and the client types what they want. You reply and confirm as you do today.

For clients who would rather pick a time themselves, switch on appointments:

  • set your working days, hours and the slots you want to offer;
  • leave out lunch time, and your busiest hours if you keep them for walk-ins;
  • the client picks a free slot and the booking appears in your dashboard;
  • confirm on WhatsApp, especially for long services such as global colour or a bridal trial.

Clients with a question first, such as whether smoothening suits coloured hair, can use the enquiry form. Every enquiry is saved in your dashboard. Bridal clients usually want a date check and a trial before they book, so point them to WhatsApp or the enquiry form rather than a fixed slot.

Where should a beauty parlour put the QR code?

  • Billing counter — a standee that says "Scan to save our number and see our prices". Clients scan while they pay.
  • Mirror stations — a small QR sticker in the corner of each mirror. Clients scan while the colour sets or the nails dry.
  • Entrance and timings board — for people who walk past when you are closed.
  • Bills and product bags — print the QR code on your bill book or a small thank-you card.
  • WhatsApp Status and Instagram bio — one link that always shows your current menu and offers.

A beauty parlour visiting card on paper can carry the same QR code, so the two work together. While your plan is active, you can also list your card in the CardLinkr business directory if you wish.

How do you ask for Google reviews the right way?

The natural moment to ask is at the counter, when the client has just seen the result. Make it easy:

  1. Copy the review link from your Google Business Profile.
  2. Add it to your card as a custom link named "Review us on Google".
  3. When a client pays, point to the QR code and ask: "Would you mind leaving us a Google review? It helps a small salon a lot."

Keep it honest. Google does not allow businesses to pay or reward customers for reviews, so offer no discount, free service or gift in return. Google's policies also do not allow asking only the clients you expect to leave a good review, so ask everyone the same way — and never write reviews yourself or ask your staff to. Google can change these policies, so check its current review rules before you start.

What does it cost, and what does Pro add?

Every new account starts with a 30-day free trial with Pro features and needs no payment details. After that, plans start at ₹999 a year or ₹249 a month, or ₹4,999 once for Lifetime.

  • Every plan — services, products, gallery, testimonials, appointments, the enquiry form and custom links.
  • Pro, Business and Lifetime — the WhatsApp store, your Instagram feed on the card, card-view counts, your own QR code design and hiding the CardLinkr branding.
  • Business plan — three cards and your own domain, for a salon with branches or senior stylists who want their own cards.

The WhatsApp store is a product catalogue for your hair-care and skin-care range: the client picks items and sends the order to you on WhatsApp, and you confirm stock and how they will pay or collect. The card itself does not take payments. Pay for your plan online by UPI, debit or credit card or net banking, and compare every plan on the pricing page. New to this? Frequently asked questions

Can I show before-and-after photos?

Yes. For a salon they simply show your own work. Ask the client's permission before you take or publish the photos, crop out anything they do not want shown, and do not use filters that change the result.

Can clients book an appointment from the card?

Yes. Set your working days, hours and slots in the dashboard; clients pick a free slot and the booking appears in your dashboard. Clients who prefer WhatsApp tap the WhatsApp button and message you directly.

Can I change prices for the festive season?

Yes. Edit prices or add a festive package from the dashboard whenever you like. The link and QR code stay the same, so the QR codes you have printed show the new menu at once.

Can clients pay through the card?

Clients pay you directly, at the counter or by UPI, the way they do today. Bookings and orders reach you on WhatsApp or through the enquiry form, and CardLinkr never handles your clients' money.

Is there a design for freelance makeup artists?

Yes. The Makeup Artist template suits freelance bridal and party makeup artists. Every plan includes all 40+ templates, and you can switch designs without changing your link.

Can I have separate cards for two branches?

Yes, on the Business plan, which includes three cards, so each branch or senior stylist can have its own link and QR code. The other plans have one card each. For five or more cards, ask us about team cards.
